Yeh it was lol - I knew that before I deleted it - dont like those as they usually come with bloatware and stuff you dont want anyway (will give him some images when I have thing going) Just doing install now - again thanks for the advice - been a few days at this already - hope this one will work Everything seems OK with it from what you can see though??
Not sure to be honest - Ive had it ages - just installed and its working now and ran the validation check and its passed Checked the WGA Validation tool that comes with the changer and it says OEM Even installed Security Essentials without complaining about being non genuine - many thanks Does that mean I can now install all updates - Ive generally avoided the WGA one in the past - cant remember the update number
You just installed it without oembios files ? if so that will be VLK and it can and probably will get blacklisted. If go to properties does pid say 76487270 or end with 270 that is vlk.
No sorry - I installed this earlier (before I went to XP Home) without oembios files and it comes up as non genuine Now after reinstalling again and then running WITH the oembios it passes the checks
