Where's the BIOS chip located?

    There's a chip somewhere but where we cant know.. you need to read the manual..

    A backup? Just download latest biosupdate from HP's website..

    The purpose of the backup chip would be if the PC no longer booted after the update..

    go to the hp website and enter your pc model number and you should be able to find the bios installtion download spXXXX.exe

    In that picture the Bios Chips is Just to the Right of the Battery and it is Soldered to the MB.
