My gosh I feel like an idiot, almost. My son just got out of basic training and bought a laptop (ASUS GL702VM) and wants me to put Win 10 on it. I haven't been following the small details of each version of this operating system and have been trying to figure out which version I should use. If possible I'm thinking of using an Enterprise version, but trying to figure out which release to use has been a 24 hour lesson on chasing my own tail. I have the thought that this is close to what I want to use: Windows 10 "Spring Creators Update" Official 17133.1 (PC) [RS4_Release] ....but I'm just not sure. Is this an LTSB release? I feel like a complete moron at times, over this. I'm not new to PC's and Windows and neither is the end user but I am new to all of the subtleties that are involved with Win10. Its overwhelming me (sure picked a bad time to stop taking xanax). Any assist would be very greatly appreciated. Which release is recommended for for long term, no repairs needed, ease of use for end user?
If it was an LTSB release, wouldn't that have been published? No, the next LTSB wiill be when 1809 is released and it probably will be called 2018 LTSC.
FYI https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/discussion-windows-10-enterprise-2016-ltsb.73435/ Only thing is LTSB doesn't have Microsoft Edge browser or Microsoft Store.
Thank you. Is this release consider RS1, RS2, RS3 or RS4? Its kind of frustrating not understanding so much and then each corner I seem to be confronted with something else that I simply don' understand. I'm far behind with the Windows "advancements" that it just isn't even funny. There's so much to learn with Windows 10 compared to Windows 7 ad 8. I didn't even have this much trouble setting up a windows 2016 domain server. Thanks again...
