Good for you. On my computer it makes a hell of a difference. By default explorer starts for about 5 secs (+network loading bar), various setup take ages with Windows eventlog running, etc.
Ah yes kill the Xbox. With EXTREME PREJUDICE. Jesus it is almost funny how all the win10 embedded gaming stuff actually ruins playing games.
@abbodi1406 Can these two scripts run on a live system or are they written just for installation time? I want to RUN them on a live system (post-installation) and merge both scripts in one. Could you fix that for me please?
specialize require TrustedInstaller privileges (NSudo) and some obscure services may already have child services running (e.g. UnistoreSvc_xxx), so you might need to disable those manually setupcomplete can be ran normally
I love that they fixed this. So nice to be able to quickly search Windows Update without waiting forever. After doing my usual service tweaks after using a MSMG'd base install, I get a nice clean system. Spoiler
Could you link this post of yours to abbodi1406's Batch Scripts Repo and insert both scripts? Hey, you can even update it as needed, no? Your scripts are pure magic!
@ ch100 very good contribution dude I can wait until final release seem excelent application thanks for share
Hi abbodi1406, I've tried your setupcomplete.cmd on 16299.15 but after password screen (didnt set any) it says something went wrong and go back user account creation.
@Ras0 i use unattend.xml to automate the whole process, so i can't say what went wrong @fLOW. registry tweaks are usually users desire
If your Unattend.xml involves that heavy tweakage, then could you please share? I won't ask about each tweak or any at all - will research them instead. Its my Windows dream to have OS install and apply all my tweaks, but oddly that results in OS not booting, unless is installed normally and same exact tweaks are applied manually. It makes no sense, but it is so. .
