so i am assuming that these couple have superseded and/or replaced all the others-- and if not, what the heck?!

can someone shed some light on this huge difference in the number of updates for me, please?

    yeah...

i see that other thread, and i also see that there are no real answers there either... just people saying 'maybe my pc is faster without these updates'
    ...
i guess i would like to know if someone actually has information from microsoft, or themselves, explaining what happened to all those other updates?
usually i look for 'v1' or 'v2' to see if something is superceded, sometimes they roll several ie updates into one, etc....
but i would like to know something for sure vs just guessing

I reformatted my pc because i updated everytime when a leaked update came available. After a month my pc booted up slow and the shut down whas also very slow (and this didnt happen before those updates). I would suggest to people to wait for a public release and not to install those leaked/beta updates.

Just install the ones that windows update say you need critical ones, optional one thats your choice, i would never ad updates that my machine dosn't need.
