Whos using Windows 8 7989 for there primary OS?

I disagree with you, I can play games like "Modern Warfare/Modern Warfare 2"

 

I just installed today, testing... GOOD I'm on it

 

I'm using 7 as the main OS and since 7989 is x64 I'm now returning to x64 only status
And yeah prolly using 7989 more than 7,no errors or crashes so far

 

Yep,

7989 as main OS, faster than 7955... seems more stable....

No compatibility issues at all (i'm not a gamer...)

 

well this new kernal has trouble with games, gta iv and dirt 3 come to mind as examples

check the thread under main windows 8 page, myself and others have posted how much trouble we have running many games!

 

Is it rejecting the game itself or the method of copy protection the game utilizes? I know 7959 did NOT like securom games.

 

This is my main OS also, it's more stable and better video than 7955.

 

I'll use it daily, but Windows 7 will be there if something goes wrong

 

try to install a Vista driver for your VGA

Yip I am using 7989 for my main OS. I havnt had this buzz since I was testing Windows 7. My firefox seems to crash quite often though.

BTW is there anyway to remove the watermark yet?

I am using 7955 for main OS and it works well for me.

 

Using 7989 here. It generally is working well but among the apps I used to have in 7, I miss Windows Live Writer. Can't get it to work.

 

Using it as my main OS, but I got an image of my win 7 install on the server for when I get bored of it.

 

What version of firefox do you use? I use firefox 5 and have no problem at all...

 

Windows Live Writer is working fine in 7989 here

 

just try it, and do not use the installer, decompress the installer ( use "7zip") and use driver update+browse my computer+let me pick from+have disk+browse and select your driver .inf file and update
