I would use it if a x86 iso would leak hahahahaha 'till then I'm stuck with 7955, anyway I like Windows 7 at the moment
I'm going to triple boot 7, 8, and linux, how much space does 8 need? and since could I install x64, even if I've been using x86? does it matter? (yes i'm pretty dumb..)
The Windows 7 recommended partition size is 16GB. My partition is at ~14GB. 20GB would be a good size for a little extra space.
When Win8 7989 shutdown, i feel it shutdown suddenly like i press and hold the power button. It did not happen on Win7. And i feel wind8 seem to be hotter than win7.
personally my practice when it comes to installing OS into a partition.. i always allot like around 20-30GB size and install my program files on another partition. so back to your question, i would suggest you give it more space. especially if you are planning to install many applications on your system. and also, if you dont feel good at 20GB. but quite frankly, if you wont install your program files on the same partition... its fairly enough. *cheers*
Maybe it would help if you would mention what games were not working. I would like to test and see if they are working for me. Additionally, did you make sure to install all the C++ Redist' packages?
I installed Windows 8 build 7989 on 25 GB partition and its enough for me. I am using 7989 as my Primary OS now and Windows 7 as secondary if anything goes wrong with Windows 8.
Please explain how to activate the 7989 build and me too use it as a primary os... I have tried in every possible way to activate it but without results...frequently leaves the message that Windows is not genuine and open the Center to activate Genuine -.-"
I tried one thousand serial found on the net but no result, I have also tried to activate by phone and a message says that my product is pirated. maybe I should activate it before using redpill, when it was still "virgin"?
NOOB Question: What are these "VHD" & "Custom VS" you speak of, white man?...I want to be clever! More seriously though, what is the advantage of running Win8 on a VHD (but I really would like to know what VHD is) versus setting up another partition and running dual boot the standard way?
