No, no key is needed. I previously tried several AV incl MSSE & had install problems or error popups. Glad you like SEP.
Since version 2.1.1116.0 you are able to install MSE on Windows Server editions, one sidenote: Officially not suported by MS
I tried this on my WHS v1 using MSE XP version, freshly downloaded with no luck. I can only get the beta version of MSE to install. Or am I making a n00b mistake? Just for reference I'm RDP into the server, downloading from M$ and double clicking to install. It stop's right away saying it will not work with this version of windows.
Forefront will install no questions asked - if you use the x32 installer similar to the one mentioned in the link above. You can find the ISO on Pirate Bay.
Yea I saw that I had misread and pm you. My question is why would you use WHS 2011 when you can use WSS 2008 R2 essentials all the whs 2011 apps work on it and it can back up 25 computers
@ Oz created delta and tested / All checks but delta is 2.7 GB / Let me know what you want to do. I suppose there is some advantage considering WHS 2011 RTM is 4.2 GB
