Why does Win8 Release Preview still installs "hardware drivers" automatically even if

    Why does Win8 Release Preview still installs "hardware drivers" automatically even if I turned off Automatic Updates, THEN plug in network cable, it will install ie: sound card driver whenever it detects internet presence.

    Is there any way to stop this?

    same as in Windows 7. Go to Devices and Printers, right click on computer's name and choose how to configure devices.
