why I can't view 8 gb flash drive on xp?

    Xp recognizes the flash drive, but when I tried to open the flash drive, it wouldn't open in the explorer. the flash drive works fine on win 7 computer.

    try it...
    make back up of all the important files anywhere,where the drive is working...
    fomat that flash drive in ur xp,where the drive is not working....

    I don't know how to explain this. I right click on the flash drive, click "explore", I can see the files and folders now. I didn't change anything.

    Yeah I've had the exact same problem where I work on a couple of our flash drives using XP ???

    I could only access the device's if I did what you've just did I.E. Right Click > Explore.
