I like the win10, out of the 2 OS's i use win10 and OS X Yosemite. I prefer working on windows 10. When i do use my mac book pro, I'm always in win7 vm. Multi tasking is trash on OS X Yosemite and OSX is missing apps I need. I rather run apps natively than in a VM. Things I like about win10 - Multi tasking , Multi desk top , 1 sec boot up time , Overall faster , Notification center , Cortana Things I hate about win10 - Inconsistent , Universal Apps not as good as win32 counter part , Missing customization title bar, Color borders around win32/uni apps.
What reports? Link them, buddy you need to reread what you type. Everything you post is half broken English. Ill wait till IDC stats come in before saying its a failure. Anything else is opinion not fact.
Lmao, pretty weak argument you got there buddy. No proof and all baseless opinions. PS: I have a mac and on my fifth mac book pro and after 30+ years of apple selling mac it will always have less 10 percent market share. Nothing is going to help Mac by the end of the year to boost it's install base over 10 percent.
My only complain at the moment it's that i really like every app having it's own colour (Tetrix 8.1) Besides that it's a good OS.
I've skipped 7 after the fail that was vista i just used Xp, modified and tweaked out it was great, then windows 8 came along, it was different, didn't like it at first but as the months went along it became better, didn't even have to tweak much, after the 8.1 update it got soo much better. Currently i prefer 8.1 over 10, but i'll use both on different system. I would say windows 10 will best be judged once Threshold wave 2 is out (3 months from now), maybe even wave 3 actually. Give software companies and hardware makers time to update their software and drivers and give MS time to fix things up.
I share your complaints, maybe some more too lol. There's a lot I change in Win10 after install before I start using it as well. Windows 7 was painless, I just enabled launch folders in a separate process and changed the locations of the libraries. Not very happy with 10 as it is now.
i felt like this til i tried enterprise LTSB, no apps, no cortana, classic calculator chance to disable automatic updates and more
Couple things i don't like about Win 10 one being some UI factor, UI minor bugs and the apps. But overall kernel responsive performance is excellent yet little bit hogging compare my Win7 29 processes vs Win10 35+ processes.
Totally agree especially about Windows Update. If Microsoft won’t give me back the option to choose which updates to install AND the ability to install them whenever I choose, I will NEVER upgrade to Windows 10 (and beyond).
I agree that turning everyone's windows 1o updates service into a giant bitorrent client should NOT be enabled by default. Local network option makes sense to me.
Well lets see... 1. If you are on a network, one system downloads the update from MS and then the rest can download the update from that system. 2. If you have more then one computer in your home ( which most people do) you can do the same thing as number 1. So if you had some kind of grey matter then you would not ask that dumb question.
I found another update that uses telemetry to collect diagnostic data if you have additional language packs installed for Windows 7 - KB3068708. Look for this one in your own update installation and remove it.
After using XP and Win7 using the classic theme for so many years, its hard getting used to Win10. I'm using Classic Shell on Win10 right now and it helps, but I still prefer the old theme because I could navigate with no problem. What was wrong with the old, simple, classic theme?
