There you go what is to save in the first place if you leave the registry alone :worthy: I'm just leave it here everybody got the right to do with their system what ever they want they call it freedom and that is important to me ;)

I do not use ccleaner to clean registry, just to save cookie's, empty recycle bin, get rid of temporary internet files, those programs listed in exclude are from way back when I did use it, now I don't:D

The other posts were for people who do use Ccleaner

If it wasn't full of errors then there would be no CCleaner and MS_User wouldn't be able to tell us what a piece of crap it is :)

I clean my registry with soap and a brush, best way ever and endorsed by Hillary and Trump !
I think people need to look up what MRU is since that is what a lot of cleaners find.

They aren't really "errors" more of invalid entries that is no longer necessary or valid, just left by programs or windows, think of it as leftover junk files.

Most of the time those junk entries don't cause problem but bloats the registry filesize which has tiny potential of slowing down windows respond rate. Some entries will cause issue e.g when a program isn't uninstalled/updated properly and registry show it as installed or updated. Those are minors issues, haven't actually seen a windows itself corrupt registry since windows 7.

That was a real problem a long time ago, when Windows still loaded the complete Registry into RAM. Windows NT up to 4 even have a setting to set the max size of the Registry.

Modern Windows OS do not do that anymore. So a large part of that orphaned keys will never be loaded into RAM and thus won't cause any slowdown.
