Come on! That's an urban legend, to say the best. Flocks aren't looking for simplicity, flocks wants the same thing everywhere. Just like some American tourist that travels in Italy, in France, China or whatever and looks for a Mac Dondalds, because they are "scared" by the local food
i agree with post #308.....most of all the hardware is now made in china and they all have malicious code embedded in to it...so any OS no matter how secure it is will do u little.
You obviously have no clue about security. First of all, you're wrong about products coming from China. Some stuff may be compromised, but it's few and far between. Compromised stuff comes from the USA also. Secondly, even if it were, you don't work bottom to top and say that just because the hardware is compromised that now anything at the software level doesn't matter. The OS does matter very much, even in the rare case of having compromised hardware. How about we deal in information with references provided, not on how you feel about something?
Once again, completely wrong. You just wrote another post based on how you feel and don't work off published references. Since I already spent time refuting all your points in your other post, doing it over and over again becomes a fruitless effort.
Wow! Do You have proof of this? If so, then please present it. If not, then You're are speaking from a place of bigotry, and Your post makes less sense than any other post in this thread.
Hmm.. Apple certainly is a flock community but, Microsoft isn't. Also, I wouldn't say that Windows isn't a simple product to use. I don't think I can post links yet still & editing them & then you having to re-edit them would be cumbersome. I'm not saying things without proof. You can look it up for yourself just as I did. And you're basing your claims from the tech-savvy community. Walk up to the average consumer and ask them what OS was the PlayStation 2 built off. There are Linux exploits do exist. Again, just look it up.. And by presentation, I mean Apple's Keynote, E3, PaxPrime, Acer Global Press Conference.. There are Linux press conferences but, it's never anything that can't be found on any Linux project website. Microsoft, Google & Apple have mastered the art of making their product sexy.. Where are the Linux system overclocking guides, insane custom water cooling loops, audio production, advanced photo & film editing suites. Again, there is a very clear line drawn in the sand. Why is Linux never at the same shows as Microsoft, Apple & Google?
You can do all your audio and visual editing on a Windows OFFLINE computer, separate from Linux online computer or as a virtual PC in the Linux online computer.
Yeah but, unfortunately, this line of work requires social media. I mean I know NAS is an option but, we're talking an all in one solution..
