Why no image file of Win 8 OEM DVD?

    yup! I actually went ahead and made mine English, hehe, edit lang.ini and also boot.wim

    I recommend setting language defaults to en-us in the boot.wim index 2 and in the install.wim index 1 with dism for this

    Boot.wim

    Code:
    Dism /Mount-WIM /WimFile:C:\boot.wim /Index:2 /MountDir:C:\mount

Dism /Image:C:\mount /Set-SKUIntlDefaults:en-us

Dism /Commit-Wim /MountDir:C:\mount
    Install.wim

    Code:
    Dism /Mount-WIM /WimFile:C:\install.wim /Index:1 /MountDir:C:\mount

Dism /Image:C:\mount /Set-SKUIntlDefaults:en-us

Dism /Commit-Wim /MountDir:C:\mount

    Download speed for retailtolenovo.svf is very slow

    after more than an hour finally its failed.

    Anyone has installed this two iso: original SC and converted one from RTM?

    What is the "BuildLab" , in HLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version

    Are they same, a GDR release?

    As far as i know original release in the market DVD is "9200 win8 gdr 1211119-1606"

    what is the use of having this edition or version..ultimately you can get it activated only if your BIOS compatible for win8 OEM activation. if not its as good as a retail version.:cool:
