until yesterday my epson home xp 207 had been linked and working flawlessly with my dsl router. For reason unknown the router rebooted all by itself, since then the printer just can't find any wifi. I checked the router params, their all ok just as before the self reboot, nothing changed. The laptop and smartphone are ok.
    Any clue ?
    thx in advance

I would just re-setup your wireless on the printer.. set it back to default , then try to find a signal again.

I am sorry to hear that..My only guess is a power surge shut everything down and your wifi didn't survive. Hopefully someone else chimes in with better ideas

the wifi is still running: smartphone, laptop are ok , it's just that the Epson crap does not "see" the wifi as it did before

Are you positive the printer and your other devices are on the same gateway/subnet? What did you do/see when printer was hooked up wired?

Also , did you try turning off any wifi security temporarily to see if printer can access router?

I don't have any experience with XP, but I have run into this situation with Windows 7. I had to go to "Printers and Devices" and remove the WiFi printer, then add it back. Windows 7 was retaining the old (outdated) settings. When our router rebooted, it gave the wifi printer a different IP and Win 7 couldn't or wouldn't update itself. Deleting and rediscovering it worked. Good luck.
