    MS would finally think this is just absurd, so finally decide to make it build 9601, and call it Windows 8.1 Service Package 1 ....(because they had publicly announced that there won't be any Windows Service Pack). :schmorch:

    I guess even MS doesn't know yet, and they kept deliberately silent on the topic. If you take bets... I'd say Windows 8.1 Update 2.

    I can't imagine they would have "Update 1" without having plans for an "Update 2 or 3"
