    Hi all.

I'm running a windows 7 instance in an openbox VM running on a linux machine.
I accidently allowed windows update to install the KB971033 update.

I have removed it and hidden it from updates.
I would like to clean the guest OS and then run Daz's loader.

I understand that MBR regenerator will clean the system, and the loader makes low-level changes that enable the OS to load.

However, I'm uncertain about the low-level changes that the loader and MBR regen makes.

Will my host OS be effected by operations performed by MBR regen and the loader?

    Thanks.

The host OS shouldn't be effected at all.

The loaders been tested with VirtualBox and VMware so as long as your VM software works like either of these then the loader should work.

FYI, both solutions you mention (Daz Loader, Trilogy) are compatible with KB971033 update, so there was no need to uninstall it ;)
