will my iphone work???

    this may sound like a completely retarded question but I got a broken iPhone 3gs (digitiser and LCD both smashed) and want to know if it will work because the guy who I got it off started to repair it then just didn't and that was like 6 months ago he only got to taking the digitiser and LCD off and unplugging them

    how can I check if it is still working so I don't spend £40 for nothing????

    Put it all together and see if it turns on, is about the only way to know.

    if you have insurance for that (Preminum Headset Protection Bundle, $5.99 monthly, if you have) .. you can replace like new... better than cost for repair...

    Try to plug it in to the computer and see if iTunes detects it. If so, it should be an easy swap-out/swap-in fix :D
