Will Windows Media Player 12 become available as an upgrade from WMP 11 for Vista

    Is WMP 12 planned for Vista or will it only be available for Windows 7.

    Yes it will, just as windows media player 11 is released for windows xp and vista, windows media player 12 will be backwards compatible, this has been confirmed long long ago.
