Whenever I put the computer on sleep it closes all the windows when it wakes up. It doesn't shut down though because when I wake up, I am promptly sent to the login screen. But when it wakes up all the windows are closed, and some of those windows reopen if it was in the startup settings. If it makes a difference I did disable telemetry and windows updates.
