Let me ask a stupid question: Who will be so crazy to downgrade having a more expensive and feature complete version just downgrade to the standard thingy. honestly ?
I don't care what I have before. I want Home version. In Windows 8.1 I didn't use Local Group Policy Editor. So I don't need it in Windows 10 (Even not Remote Desktop). So why I need OS with features I will not use them ?
most users would be happy to have the max version which cost a lot more than the standard one. There might come a situation when you need any of these extra features where you don't have to pay for when upgrading from 8.1 pro to 10 pro. Anyway, it is your choice
"Should" is the operative word. Just trying to show why Windows 10 Professional is a better option if you have a choice between Home and Professional. The user may not need all the features that Professional offers but any advantage can be good.
That's not how it works. Home, Pro and Enterprise use the same file versions. Ent and pro just have different features and capabilities.
BTW, You can upgrade from Home to Education, But not from Pro to Education (only Pro to Enterprise). It's look like Enterprise and Education are the same. But I prefer Education.
For Pre-Release (e.g. 10159, 10166) TargetEditions for Core: Pro & Education TargetEditions for Pro: Enterprise & Education Right?
Any suggestions for moving torrents over to a new install? I don't want to lose the ability to seed. This is my one issue with doing a new install.
