Ok Sir. I have tried that also. Most of the time After I enter shift+F10 then type Menu it comes back menu is not recognized as a command. A lot of the time my system just goes to the desk top w/ no changes. This last attempt I had it disconnected from the internet for 30+ hours. Then when I link my MS account my system is no longer compliant with win 11. I figured if I let it stay off line for 30+ hours I would be good. But that is not the case I think that the red flag is added to my MS account.
Hmm. Well I don't think there's anything this tool can do about that. They seem to have coded it so that every time the user logs into a MS account it checks for hardware. Ultimately it's MS's operating system. If they want to lock out users who don't meet certain requirements, they can find a lot of ways to do it. Sorry to say it, but most people avoid logging into MS accounts like the plague so I'm not sure there is going to be much interest in developing a tool for that. You might consider buying an RTM chip or installing Win10.
@antonio8909 & @rpo, implementing your suggestions and provided code: Option 1: Code: ============================================================ Win 11 Boot & Upgrade FiX KiT v2.0 TEST... ============================================================ ================================================================================ Select the desired FiX... ================================================================================ [ 1 ] - Puts the Win 11 install.wim/esd in a Win 10 ISO (Provide a Win 10 ISO in the "Source_ISO\W10\" Folder) This method is usefull for clean installs from boot, using the standard W10 setup. A generic EI.CFG file will be copied to the sources folder. [ 2 ] - Integrate Diskpart & Apply Image script (v1.3.1), modify boot.wim to skip the SB, RAM, DiskSize and TPM 2.0 check and replace "appraiserres.dll" with one from a 1703 ISO. A generic EI.CFG file will be copied to the sources folder. This method enables you to: - Use the standard Win 11 setup for clean installs on devices without Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 and low amount of DiskSize & RAM. - Use the alternative Diskpart & Apply Image installation script for clean installs. - Circumvent "TPM 2.0 is required" error when (inplace) upgrading. - Enables to install on LegacyBIOS/MBR only systems. - Circumvents the 64GB (52GB) minimum disk size check. ================================================================================ * Type your option and press Enter: 1 ============================================================ Extracting Source ISO... ============================================================ 7-Zip 19.00 (x86) : Copyright (c) 1999-2018 Igor Pavlov : 2019-02-21 Scanning the drive for archives: 1 folder, 1 file, 4849774592 bytes (4626 MiB) Extracting archive: Source_ISO\W10\19044.1165.210801-0515.21H2_RELEASE_SVC_PROD1_CLIENT_X64FRE_NL-NL.iso -- Path = Source_ISO\W10\19044.1165.210801-0515.21H2_RELEASE_SVC_PROD1_CLIENT_X64FRE_NL-NL.iso Type = Udf Physical Size = 4849774592 Comment = 19044.1165 Cluster Size = 2048 Created = 2021-08-12 02:00:00 Everything is Ok Folders: 82 Files: 898 Size: 676344775 Compressed: 4849774592 ============================================================ Extracting Win 11 install.wim/esd to work dir... ============================================================ ============================================================ Copying generic ei.cfg to the work dir... ============================================================ 1 file(s) copied. ========================================================= Creating x64 ISO... ========================================================= OSCDIMG 2.56 CD-ROM and DVD-ROM Premastering Utility Copyright (C) Microsoft, 1993-2012. Updated the OP to: Win 11 Boot And Upgrade FiX KiT v2.0 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/win-11-boot-and-upgrade-fix-kit-v1-9.83724/ Changelog: Code: v2.0 Added the 64GB minimum disksize check bypass Changed the code to use the original filename with "FiXED_date" addition (requested by @antonio8909 and used code offered by @rpo ) Added the ei.cfg copy function to option 2 too Added some more info about what the fixes enable to do (suggested by @ch100 )
This may be a stupid question but here it is: How do you put the new ISO onto a USB Drive to boot from it to do a clean install?? I have tried the latest RUFUS and it always comes up with My computer does not meet the minimum requirements. This is built from the latest ISO from Microsoft and using option 2. I am putting this on another drive in my PC so I have a backup OS to run if the one I am currently using Craps out. It is the latest Windows 11 Pro build.. This new ISO, after your kit, is 982MB but shows under Properties it is over 10GB. What should the size be?? I guess this is two questions.. TIA Okaussie
Enthousiast I have an AMD FX-8350 CPU.8 Core 4.0GHz. Good enough to run Win 11 BUT is not on the Supported List. Can you add something to remove the cpufms.inf for Setup DU from 22000.120 added a file 'cpufms.ini' which contains CPU iteration check. This blocks any AMD CPU prior to Ryzen. I fixed my clean install issue. Don't use RUFUS, just use WINRAR to un RAR it to the flash drive. Then it boots correctly...
