As far as we now know when 22000.xxx is installed, the hotfixes as in normal updates will install just fine, manually or by WU.
Thank you buddy. But why was the method which wipes the entire disk suggested when we can do the installation after patching the ISO without using the batch script - "menu" ?. Initially i was under the impression that disk 0 means only a partition of the disk in which one wants to install the o/s, but only then realised that its not just a single partition but the entire disk. Is there any reason for the developer suggesting the express install which will wipe the entire disk before installation ?. Thanx
wintohdd works great without tpm or else restriction windows update shows 2 updates to defender and MSRT so wind. update works on unsupported cpu hope also security updates will works if not hope we can install it via cab files.
Here comes my stupid question. Anybody tested the rollback option? I know it did not work on the early releases but I can't find a fresh answer to the question.
I don't know what roll back has to do with this but i did that a few times from 19043.xxxx <> 22000.xxx and back.
i had to remove the lines checking for admin at the begining as the script just closes when it does the admin check. maybe because i have uac off? anyway, removed the top lines and now it works, so thanks for sharing. edit; i chose option 2 and it created the fixed iso, setup from root works but setup from sources doesn't, says can't be installed. does that mean boot clean install won't work?
Thank you. Now I will feel safe to recommend your tool to some of my single computer freinds who are pressing me on a way to give Win 11 a try. I know some of them will go back to 10.
Yeah, best to do Atm all updates install fine, manually or by WU. No, install from boot is fixed by the boot.wim index2 reg changes.
Hi Enthousiast, hi guys.. I have an creepy question, if anybody can aswer ill apretiate. I made a new iso using this script, with option 2. Can I open this modified iso with NTLITE to made some customizations on it? or is it incompatible, will end up with an non working win 11 iso?
Considering the reg fixes are done to boot.wim index 2 and only the appraiserres.dll in "ISO:\Sources\" is replaced (removing still not tested), it should not matter what you change in install.wim.
I can confirm that the script works fine with the final RTM version. Thanx to the developer for this masterpiece.
what is the difference between option1(using the standard W10 setup) and option2 ? Are there different settings for the two installation methods?I feel it's both a new or clean installation.
WU works but iam worried later about security updates on unsupported maybe manually install second Tuesday always will works
@Enthousiast , thank you for this amazing tool, I used option 2 and clean installed windows 11 on my unsupported system without any problems Windows update is working fine too, hope I will not get any problem in future regarding security updates
Thank you. I have no ISO so can't try it for the moment but where is "\Source_ISO\W11"? Is it within W11 ISO?
So which is the best way to clean install on un-supported system is it 1.Download iso 2.Use Win 11 Boot And Upgrade FiX KiT 3.Make your bootable usb 4.Do I need to be offline for this to work Is this correct Thanks
