Hi @Enthousiast I used the latest v4.0 on 26100.2.240309 from uup It worked great upgrading even with deleting everything option Today I wanted to clean install from boot so I had it ofln a flash USB and booted to setup selected keyboard...etc, and at the final step it gave me the message Your computer doesn't meet the requirements... I used option 1 when I made it I used this exact fixed iso to upgrade just a month or so ago What do you think And I now have a .863 iso, will the fix work with it? Attached the iso name showing it was fixed
You might need to use the legacy Setup type, there is a link in the modern Setup for falling back to it. Personally, I had the best results with option 2 + 3. The next version of the script will let you select all options in a modular manner.
Hi, i need to create single partition MBR windows 11 LTSC IOT 2024 install for a diskless program (it's asking for single partition vhd), can this script mod my ISO for that? I can already create multiple partition MBR install with that same ISO. but the problem arises when i try to install win11 on the single partition, the installer would popup "there is an error selecting this partition for install. Please select different partition blablabla" Basically i think i need to bypass the GPT check.. BTW, i tried downloading the script but the .bat and readme wont extract for me, thats why i post this..
There is no bat, cmd only and use the password from the OP. When you use the diskpart and apply script it won't check for any requirements and there is no GPT check, when installing you can set it up as Legacy BIOS/MBR.
I am trying to install LTSC Eval edition of 24H2 as an upgrade inside a VM. I got original 26100.1.240331-1435.ge_release_CLIENT_LTSC_EVAL_x64FRE_en-us.iso, if I run, I see a compatibility error I use this tool, option 1, get a "Fixed" ISO, run setup and now "Setup has failed to validate the product key" on the very start of setup. What is wrong with Evals?
Yea, sure, I do undestand. But why script makes a working image unusable? Consider that as a low-priority bug report
I think that when the masters, the gurus, have it tested and it works, if not for what, we must have patience, which is the mother of science. No matter how early you get up, the sun rises early. P.S. Haste is not good for everything in its own time.
There are some changes done, after next weekend, when my wife is back to work i can put in more energy together with @abbodi1406 and probably release some beta version for public testing.
Hey guys, For me, the script works beautifully for a LTSC 11 fresh install. Everything seems to work perfectly except for additional features. When I try to enable additional features like Hyper-V, NETfx 3.5 or Containers after install, Windows downloads the necessary components, starts installing them but after restarting fails to install them. I get the “We couldn’t update…. Don’t worry… undoing changes…” message or something. Anyone with a similar problem ?
That's not the script's function, it bypasses boot and upgrade requirements, not adding features and the error you get is not requirement related.
To this day it works very well, but it requires an internet connection to continue with the installation.
