I downloaded win11 23h2 ISO from MS, used option 1, took all defaults. Successfully upgraded from Win10 to Win11 23H2!! intel NUC i7 cpu and no tpm. thanks! Do you think this will get 24H2 from Windows Update when it comes out? Also, can you explain the 'apply image script'? where is this script, and how do I modify it, it might help with some defaults I change after install. thanks for your work!!!!
I read that, Microsoft patches TPM 2.0 bypass to prevent Windows 11 installs on PCs with unsupported CPUs, will the FiX KiT continue to work?
No they didn't they just closed a loophole or bug in setup, and only for Canary build 27686 + https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1848171
If Option 1 was used with v4.0 to create an ISO file for a clean install, is it necessary to repeat this with v5.0beta5 or choose a different Option?
https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/win-11-boot-and-upgrade-fix-kit.83724/ Officially released, please read the info at the OP Special thanks to @abbodi1406 For those who downloaded it already and find a $OEM$ folder inside the OEM folder, it is KMS_VL_ALL v52 $OEM$, accidentally left it in before zipping, current zips don't contain it anymore!!! You can simply delete the $OEM$ folder if it was present!!!!
To install on Legacy BIOS^/MBR only systems should AIO 2a (as listed in the Readme/Changelog) be used or AIO 1? When should AIO 2b be used?
ALL fixes 1 and/or 2 will enable you to install on legacy bios systems, that is already working from the get-go..
Tpm are not required for windows 11 iot And iot are same structure as consumer 24h2 like home and pro same base
This has nothing to do with this specific tool, the closed patch he is talking about is the setup server thing and never used by this tool.
I read a recent article that Microsoft patches TPM 2.0 bypass to prevent Windows 11 installs on PCs with unsupported CPUs and asked if the FiX KiT will continue to work, assuming that this would happen with an update.
The stuff that was patched/blocked by msft was setup.exe /server and that method was never used by this tool and not related to this tool.
the changes microsoft is working on blocking for older pc's is in the new 27xxx series win11 canary; so eventually that will be the cat and mouse game going forward with tools here as well as rufus and ventoy or the unmentionable other tools from mr ratib$@#@$ and mass grav$#%#
so I would want to use option 1 which is recommended but which of the others should I do? I definitely need the ei.cfg. do you type 1,6,7,8,9 at the bottom where is says to select desired options? How do you enter your multiple selections?
Extra options are selected by default press the corresponding number using your keyboard to toggle state for each option (* = selected, empty = not selected) option 1 & 2a & 5 are not interchangeable, you can only select one of them option 2b can be selected alone you can only start the process by pressing zero 0
