English isn't my first language so I'll try to explain my question quite good !! Before I used the v4 and select option 1 without replacing the ei.cfg... In tyour new v5 , wich option will do the same ?? I ask just to be sure Tia !!
Option 1 (UFWS) was and still is option 1 (UFWS) but with the server setup.cfg (2022/2025) replacement to have it working on both 24H2 setup types.
If I want to upgrade my Windows 10 PC to Windows 11, should I just copy the Windows 11 iso to "Source_ISO\W11\" and then select option 1 (UFWS) and run it?
I copied to Source ISO/W10 and W11 and it pops up: "Unsupported windows 10 build". I tried on different temporary builds of WIndows 10 but 32 bit (because that's what I need). What's wrong?
What windows 10 and 11 ISOs did you use, i can only support official or original structured ISOs. 32bit ISOs can't be used, Win 11 is 64bit only so use a 64bit Win 10 ISO or use the proper fixes 1 or 2 on a win 11 ISO.
If you are trying to update from win 10 32 bit to win 11, i´m sorry to tell you it will never be possible as win 11 is only 64 bit since beginning and no fix will work to do that.
Thank you. Please let me know some more information. If I want to upgrade from Windows 10 Enterprise to Windows 11 Pro, can I upgrade to Windows 11 Pro by copying a Windows 11 multi-edition iso to "Source_ISO\W11\" and running it? Or do I need an iso that is only for Windows 11 Pro? After upgrading to Windows 11, if I want to update to a new version, can I just copy a new Windows 11 iso to "Source_ISO\W11\" and run it in the same way?
I've one question: if I want to install win11 with WINNTSETUP? What option should I use, that will be able to remove the restrictions from the INSTALL.WIN?
Winnt setup applies the install.xxx directly afaik, same as the added diskpart & apply image script so all requirements are skipped entirely (no setup.exe from the ISO is used).
No, applying the install.wim directly won't need any fix, it is windows setup that checks for the TPM and such. Wait, what CPU requirement? That is not the purpose of this tool, it bypasses the TPM, SB and such requirements during windows setup.
For 24H2 the CPU must support SSE4.2 on Intel CPU or SSE4A on AMD CPU, this is a hardware requirement which can't be circumvented by the upgrade kit.
guys i beginer with this tool for installing later 24H2 which options i need use for now i have 23H2 my processor is i5 7400 without TPM..
