Just wanted to say thank you to every one who put in the time and effort in creating this lil gem. I have an older system that would no longer update even with the dll replaced so I thought I would give this a try and bam! win 11 22000.100 installed no problems. these systems that im installing win 11 on are from 2014 to 2011 lol.. it works good. again thanks guys!
Apologies if I am missing anything, but I am stuck on doing an in-place upgrade from standard W10 Pro v 12H1 to W11 Insider. I ran both fixes for to create a new ISO but when I try the upgrade I get a “Setup has failed To Validate the Product Key” message. The ei.cfg file is added to sources correctly. I also made sure the appraisers files are replaced. Am I forced to run the upgrade via a boot disc from outside windows, and if I do so, will I be bale to keep my current apps and settings? Many thanks J
How is your system activated? What fix method gave that error? Option 2 should be the best way to go.
I tried both option 1 and 2. Same error. I have digital W10 activation most likely having updated ealiler from W7. Any extra suggestions to get past the “Setup has failed To Validate the Product Key” message?
Use the ISO, made by using fix option 2 and put the ei.cfg inside sources, try and when it still fails please show me a screenshot of the error.
I have a Win 10 Pro install on one of my PCs which has some 'corrupt' files (when running SFC /SCANNOW it says found corrupt files but cannot repair them). If I upgrade to Win 11 Pro to keep all my files & programs, will the OS be "clean" or will it also migrate the corrupt files from Win 10? I've tried running DISM commands in CMD in Win 10 Pro to no avail - it keeps saying "source files cannot be found" which is very aggravating. At this point, I'd just like to upgrade to Win 11 Pro and call it a day. Any advice?
ei.cfg has been copied from the fix and saved to sources. see also screenshot error message. please advise on how I upload an attachment? thanks
Still not clear what ISO you used, the one made by option 2 or the one by option 1. Use the one made by option 2 and put the ei.cfg in the sources folder. And when an error appears, take a screenshot and show it here.
Unfortunately on my system I don't have an "UPLOAD A FILE" box next to my "POST REPLY". I have tried both Chrome and Firefox. Is there some setting I need to activate in order to get this option?

Interestingly today I find the "UPLOAD A FILE" next to "POST REPLY". Any idea why it was not there the prior days?
