Option 4 "is useful for clean installs from boot" but "the Diskpart & Apply Image script (v1.3.1) by @murphy78" is not proposed for this method. Is this conscious omission?

Option 4 is actually obsolete and specially when users use the diskpart and apply image script, then simply run option 1, 2 or 3 and forget the win 10 iso.

@rpo, i personally don't like to address USBs from my scripts, when it goes wrong (like i once got in the past with an ancient rufus run) it can f**k up a lot.

Looking to do a clean install of 22H2. If I choose option 1 using version 3.0, is it the same as previous versions where I only need the win11 iso and do not need the win11 iso?

Option 1 is the recommended option, provide a win 11 ISO in the "Source_ISO\W11\" folder and run option 1:)

    Thanks @Enthousiast!

I have done some more research and have a few more questions. Novice user here so please bear with me. I have Asus Z170-A board with an i7-6700k processor which is running Windows 7 (Yes I know....get with the times. Better late than never I guess :) ) As such I want to do a clean install of Windows 11. Based on my hardware my motherboard meets the secure boot and TPM requirement, but my Intel processor isn't supported Windows 11. Hence the reason why I wanted to use the Win 11 Boot and Upgrade Fix to bypass the system requirement check upon install. I was able to successfully run the fix to get my modded ISO and was going create a USB bootable disk using RUFUS, but saw that in RUFUS you can create the image with the "Extended Windows 11 Installation (no TPM/no Secure Boot/8GB – RAM)" option which also bypasses the system requirements when doing the install. I have the following questions.

    1. Do I need the modded ISO generated with Win 11 Boot and Upgrade Fix if I am using Rufus to create my bootable disk and select the "Extended Windows 11 Installation (no TPM/no Secure Boot/8GB – RAM)" option?
    2. Are there advantages of using the Win 11 Boot and Upgrade Fix over the RUFUS "Extended Windows 11 Installation (no TPM/no Secure Boot/8GB – RAM)" option?
    3. Can I still use the modded ISO generated with Win 11 Boot and Upgrade Fix and create the bootable USB with RUFUS? If so, would I still choose "Extended Windows 11 Installation (no TPM/no Secure Boot/8GB – RAM)" in RUFUS when creating the bootable USB?

    Sorry for the rookie questions.

I often wonder why people expect the world should be given to them on the plate.

Here we have a perfectly good work around, VERY KINDLY supplied to us NOBS who know nothing and greatly appreciated.

Yet there are always people ready to complain it needs more work for their circumstance. GET A GRIP OF YOURSELF.

Be thankful some-one puts the time and effort to do something FREE OF CHARGE for the majority. Big deal if you have to do some minor work for your individual circumstance. Be Thankful it was done at all. Its not hard to twig the program to your individual needs.

    RANT OFF

I would not mix rufus into this. Personally I first made a bootable usb.stick using a script from this site "Win10+ Setup Disk 2.7".
    Then executing the FIXED iso.

For those using Ventoy, it seems with version 1.0.86 that the bypass Windows 11 hardware check and bypass Windows 11 online account requirement are default settings. Mind you haven't tested as all my installs have been using the Win 11 Boot And Upgrade FiX KiT (clean installs).

In need of some help her:
When upgrading from w10 to w11 using the fix-kit (setup from a FIXED w11-iso), I have learned that drivers must be upgraded
before using the fix-kit (as explained previously) in order to aviod aborts. Thats ok so far.
But now I have been asked by members of the "oldies" club to clean install their pc-s with a fresh w11 !
Their old rigs were too cluttered and terribly slow. So I have started the first case, formatting the hdd, creating a bootable usb with
a win11-FIXED.iso on it, using Win10+ Setup Disk 2.7.cmd (from MDL). Booted ok, started the windows install, selecting clean install,
it ran for a while and one (or two?) boots, then abort. (kernel security check failure). More og less the same as upgrading a w10
with old drivers. So now I am stuck. Can not upgrade drivers on a formatted hdd (as solved the problem when upgrading from w10)
What can I do ??? I could of course first clean install a win 10, then upgrade drivers, then performing an upgrade using the w11-FIXED iso.
Maybe this is the only way ?? Most grateful for advise. (I have more than 10 cases to fix, so an easier way would be fine if posible)..

I and many others have been successfully upgrading to or clean installing 22000, 2262x and dev channel builds on ancient hardware, the problems you experience are not fix related.

For ME - worked on iNtel series 2 - 4 + plus AMD 3 series.

Worked with "uup-downloaded" Windows 11-22H2 (one file with win11 pro to win11 server - ie full set of windows version"
    *** My preferred method/OPTION = via (fn+ f10- command prompt) than use = **Win_*11_Boot*_And_*Upgrade_FiX_KiT_v2.2.cmd**

    All of these series 3-5 intel were with OEM laptops with intel "drivers & firmware";
and I noticed that you have to do these BEFORE DOING Win11:
    1) update BIOS to latest when available.
    2) update all INTEL DRIVERS + PLUS MUST DO FIRMWARE updates (preferably via use of "intel's driver/firmware update tools)
    3) Pre-download Manually "drivers for windows 11" of those Devices that often have issues eg - Display & Wireless 4G/5G drivers and or Fingerprint etc
    4) I personally DONT DELETE OEM Partition ( given that it often contained OEM drivers)

Also note - installed (all on new SSD's) yes most all of them were installed originally with win7 OEM
and now have Win11 ENTERPRISE and or EDUCATION.
100+ laptops/Pc's and server/workstations installed and list growing.....

    ** Thanks to @Enthousiast , @abbodi1406 , @AveYo and others.***
