    From the OP:

And then it goes on to explain in detail. I don't know what more you want.

    @Enthousiast
Is it possible to install on a MBR partition with this tool when using a UEFI (non CSM) system?

It is made for that, among other situations.

Wait, MBR on a UEFI non CSM system? The tool enables you to install 11 on Legacy BIOS/MBR systems.

I am asking about a UEFI system. If I can not enable CSM Support in BIOS, can I install on a MBR partition?

The tool is made to do the install on unsupported systems (no tpm 2.0 andor uefi/secureboot available and such), it doesn't enable MBR partitioning or something, you need another disk manager or so for that, IF possible.

If you have a (only) UEFI (non CSM) system, you can install directly from iso with no modifications. on the other hand, UEFI systems can“t boot from MBR disk/partitions.

For MS, UEFI and GPT are couples, they do not allow creating and installing on MBR partitions if booted in UEFI mode, in the official installer.
To my understanding, this is not a necessity in general, you might get away with third-party tools.

It works and still allows me to upgrade to the latest versions and Insider builds from within VirtualBox 5.2.45, where some additional checks seem to be in place and where the traditional methods did fail. I'm always using 2a+b.

    Enthousiast:

    I've been using version 6.1f2
    https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/win-11-boot-and-upgrade-fix-kit-v6-1f2-released.83724/
since it was released, and it has worked great in converting an up-to-date Windows 11 25H2 ISO file so that operating system can be installed in my older Dell desktops (4th - 7th generation).

I've heard that Windows 11 26H2 will be released in or about October 2026.
Will version 6.1f2 work with it, or do you plan to release a new version?

Edit: tried to upload a gif showing the fail but seems it did not work.

seems no problem with V6.1f2 here just converted same iso no error but noticed it takes ages to burn the iso with RUFUS, will test the iso when finished.

You only uploaded a picture of the folders, i would advise to not put the projects as deep as i see in your picture, avoid user profiles, best to create a folder on the root of c or d or whatever local partition, this to keep the paths as short and simple as possible.
