I hadn't seen any posts regarding this but, I preordered windows 7, got Home Premium when it was £50. Now recently I've been wanting the features of Ultimate. Is there anyway to use windows anytime update then use Windows Loader v2.0.0?

Sorry, I installed retail win 7 as an upgrade from vista which was an OEM disk but NOT pre-installed. I built the PC.

The easiest, most hassle free way (assuming reinstalling apps isn't hassle) would be to format and install ultimate right off the bat. I'd do Win 7, then SP1, other updates, then the loader.

    1. Windows partition 40 GB
    2. Program / Games partition xxxx GB
    3. Backup

    Thats the answer pal..

You could also sysprep your computer and capture the image, then overwrite the old install.wim with your new.. (Not with all your games of course but most apps)

For the first part of that, my 500GB drive has 60gb free. I didn't understand the second :S There is no way to use "Windows Anytime Upgrade"?
