Win 7 RTM Ultimate + german LIP: helpfiles still englisch

    solved: Win 7 RTM Ultimate + german LIP: helpfiles still englisch

    Hello,

    I have installed german LIP, but my help- and supportfiles are still in englisch. How can I correct this? And what's the the difference between MUI and LIP ? Is MUI just the complete collection of all LIPs, or is it more than this?

    If you installed LP (language pack) you have your local system user interface totally (100%) translated in your language, even help and support files.

    Help and support files can use either online or local resources.
    By default they are loaded online from m$ website, which is still in english.
    If you set help to use local files, you'll see it in you language.
