Win 8 EN to Win 8 NL

    Dear all,
    today i bought a HP Laptop From london ( been there for work),
    the Laptop is qwert but english language, i want to give it to my son as a gift.
    so i want to format the HDD and install the dutch Win 8
    can you please advise about the activation?
    The installed windows is Just HP Win 8 OEM

    Actually you can just install the Dutch language pack, it should be fine instead of formatting.

    if you do decide to format and install, just use win8 pro/core (multiple edition) in your language and it will pull the key from the machine bios. But as above stated, you should be able to add the dutch language and set as default.

    i think the dutch languge is better optie ratter than formating and playing arrond
