While i am in a chat room on my DESKTOP, i go to type a new sentence and all of a sudden the apps window pops up or my COMPUTER (C: D pops up or the RUN command window opens up. Who knows what other will pop up. What could coz this. I installed fresh windows 8 on this PC 3 days ago. thx
Question; what type of chat room is this? If your PC is not properly protected, those chat rooms have backdoors which will allow a hacker remote access. With the cmp prompt opning, is a good indicator of such activity. I suggest going into safe mode and running your AV and any malware/spyware software you have.
Looks like your WIN key got stuck, that can happen. So you are actually typing WIN+? commands. E gives you Explorer, R Run... etc. Just tap both WIN keys and it should rectify itself. Note that the other modifiers (CTRL, ALT, SHIFT can stick, too).
