I made some adjustments to the original script for my case so I can use the new kmspico 9.3 Final (dumps oem-dm key now and applies it if legit oem machine) in audit mode so this script doesn't try to oem activate again after recovery partition and image has been captured. If anyone uses audit mode also and wishes to try this script just let me know. Thanks to Alphawaves for his help.

OK thanks for that. My web filtering software was blocking the links and they weren't even showing. I had to get on another computer to see them.

It's well explained right at the very first post... If you don't understand, it means you are, sorry to say, a n00b and need to study Windows systems even more:
    Win8.x
Contents of '$oem$' folder are silently added during install, and script silently checks for manufacturer brand, and applies appropriate oem theme|LockScreen|user account image|wallpaper|logos|etc. 'OEM-DM' serial will be extracted and applied.

When you view system properties... your brand logo should be displayed, and system activated. Desktop Wallpaper|LockScreen and user account images should all be manufacturer brand of your PC... and Desktop Wallpaper|LockScreen image will be auto-changed to your monitor resolution, if the appropriate image size files are included during installation (default image size is 1366x768)... Walllpaper|LockScreen image sizes 1366x768, 1680x1050, 1920x1200 have been included in all brand folders, and more sizes can be added to the folders, by following instructions in the 'readme.txt' files.

If manufacturer brand string|s not detected; then Windows Default theme will be applied.

    Win7
Contents of '$oem$' folder are silently added during install, and script silently checks for edition installed and for manufacturer brand, and applies appropriate oem theme|logon-off|user account image|wallpaper|logos|cert|serial|etc, for that brand... (if your brand has no 'leaked' serial for the edition installed, then Acer serial is used). During installation, pop-up box requesting serial will not appear. All unused files will be self deleted.

When you view system properties... your brand logo should be displayed, and system activated. Desktop Wallpaper|Logon-Off and user account images should all be manufacturer brand of your PC... and Desktop Wallpaper|Background Logon-Off image will be auto-changed to your monitor resolution, if the appropriate image size files are included during installation (default image size is 1366x768)... Walllpaper|Background image sizes 1366x768, 1680x1050, 1920x1200 have been included in all brand folders, and more sizes can be added to the folders, by following instructions in the 'readme.txt' files.

If manufacturer brand string|s not detected; then Windows Default theme will be applied.

    Vista
Similar to above 'Win7' process occurs, with a few exceptions...

    1. without a 'PID.txt' file being present, windows will ask for a product key, so just select options to install without key, and select edition you want to install... the script will add the key later, for the edition you chose to install.

    2. logon background is not changed in 'Vista', as the images used for this purpose are stored in a system .dll file, and as such the script deletes the useless 'backgrounds' folder during the installation process.

We were all a noob at some point. lol Glad you got it figured out. :)

On another note...wmic to check activation status is disabled during oobe.cmd process (as Alphawaves said to me) so in order for it to check activation I had to use cscript to look for Licensed (search is English so if another language you would have to change Licensed to you own language. Thanks to Alphawaves for pointing out other languages for Licensed. ;) )...this works....tested on two real machines. This is great if you activate during audit mode. ;)

I copied $OEM$ folder over but didn't see any script. I read that I only needed th $EM$ folder somewhere. When I tried to install the OS (7) I got a message that a file was missing or corrupted.

Hello all.I downloaded OEM Query Tool from the links provided here and the file hashes don't match the ones from first post. Here are the ones i get:
    MD5: 7071D9D4F4FA83BF9EED76863FF1E63C
    SHA-1: DC64BC6EDCA813BFAB35F2FC446769250B9528E3
I downloaded from the backup 2 link. The first link fro zippyshare was dead and the backup 1 said pup when scanned with antivirus.

OK I did those backup links. When downloading from TUSFILES uncheck the case: "Use our download manager and get recommended downloads"

Thanks Mr.X for your reply.I did uncheck already and got the same PUP warning.I downloaded from Data File Host and scanned with antivirus and seems okay, but the file hashes still don't match and i am having trouble running it.Any suggestions? When i tried to run as administrator it just shut down my computer.

I just downloaded this from Data File to check. Seems that you do not check the hash of the extracted file. Check the hash of the zip file. It is a match,,,, at least with me:D

    1. Which OS?
    2. Edition?
    3. Did you burn your new compiled iso on a DVD at low speed?
    4. A corrupt download perhaps?
