am i getting this right, if the manufacturer is not detected the scripts will load the backgrounds and theme from the default folder.

if that is correct how can i modd this so no background and theme is loaded and just the standard windows default is used instead.

    also it says
"... if specific brand detected, then loader will apply specific brand, if not detected, then Asus loader will be applied ..."

    what is Asus Loader?

    1. Yep, it will apply from "default" folder.
    2. Im not sure bout that but maybe an "if" section should work
    3. Asus loader.. Loader activates computers (duuh) if no SLIC 2.1 is fount. Asus loader means it will first install asus certificate and then asus serialkey for your edition and final install the loader.

i really need the daz loader version and the normal loader version [desc 2 &3]
but modded, so if no manufacturer detected then no theme, logos or backgrounds installed, just uses the windows default setup
but still operate the same, ie. slic2.1 detected no loader installed, no slic detected loader installed

    @racky29 ...

    Theme Options:-

    1. Delete DEFAULT folder in the MultiBrand_OEM's folder
... Windows Default would apply if brand not found.

    2. Delete MultiBrand_OEM's folder
... Windows Default would apply regardless of brand found.

    3. Place the Theme_Default.txt inside the DEFAULT folder, inside the MultiBrand_OEM's folder
...This forces DEFAULT folder contents to be applied as custom theme

ok option.1 should do the trick then
so if i just delete the default folder, all the other brands will work as normal, and if no brand detected, the windows will be as it normally defaults to
thats exactly what i need, thanks everyone here good job!!!

but deleting the default folder will this cause a script error, i suppose deleting the contents of the default folder would be bettter, the script will still see the folder but there wont be anything in there to deploy

    yep, option 1 :)

deleting DEFAULT folder, or MultiBrand_OEM's will not cause script error ... OOBE.cmd instructions "IF EXIST" takes care of things.

so just to confirm, the Theme_Default.txt
this will apply whats in the default folder regardless of what brand is detected, whether a brand is detected or not detected?

    Version Numbering..

First of all thanks for providing us such an easy tool...But i have a small suggestion,I think it will really be better if you could just implement version numbering scheme or anything like that so that it could help us track the progress of this project..and it can also help us to distinguish between all your previos builds..I just like to keep previous builds just in case if required...Anyways thanks again for keeping uptodate such a nice project :)

Wow! This seems too easy. Often work with 2.1 SLIC OEM computers where people didnt get their recovery disc from the Manufacture. I just drop $OEM$ folder from Option 1 into the Sources folder of my Windows 7 Disc, rebuild ISO. Now it autodetects brand from info in BIOS, then installs corresponding brand logos/theme, cert, and serial without intervention. And this one DVD can be used for any 2.1 SLIC OEM computer I need to use it on. Fantastic! Thanks so much for this!

yea we all know that already, how this activator works:).

If the customer isnt smart enough to read what it says on the monitor and just clicks around, they shoudnt use a computer at all..
