looking at the description3 daz loader edition
the script is written to detect brand and insert relevant serial key and cert,
but daz loader /silent /preactivate is designed to do exactly that
so therefore isn't the cert and key being written twice, and therefore couldn't this script be stripped down just to deal with the
oem logo's and wallpapers, and daz loader can deal with the rest what it normally does

or am i getting it wrong and there's a reason for this
or does the script insert key and cert before daz loader runs, and daz loader detects these and just insert the relevant slic.bin
cos i was thinking if there's a slim chance that daz loader detects a different brand to what the script does then
    there could be an issue

i hope you can understand what i'm babbling on about here and give me some thoughts on this
i suppose what im trying to say is, most of the script seems to do what daz loader already does
so we could get rid of the certificates folder and reduce the script size
    thanks

    I've mentioned that once before.

If the system doesn't have a SLIC then it's installing a certificate and serial and then passing it onto my loader application which is going to do what? Install the certificate and serial again. The loader application could handle all of this on it's own and leave just the logo's and wallpapers to the script.

removal of activation from OOBE.cmd would result in 2x pop-ups during install

1x pop-up requesting serial number during install.
1x pop-up stating "this is non genuine" message from Daz loader being run, even if only to apply serial/cert.

    I don't like pop-ups

what about adding programms for silent install?
at which place of setupcompled.cmd should i place them?
    activation method :AIO-Win7-DVD-Activation-[incl.Loader]

    all apps located in %systemdrive%\windows\setup\scripts

Well this is an autoactivating and oemlogo install kit only!
And also silently installing apps requires some modifications to the script and you need to know all those commands and the silent switches.

    Although the idea is good:)...

You should add them at the end of everything, after the mediainstall (logo, wallpaper etc) if im not that wrong..

searchengine, I've test ur project in my windows installation, strange thing is the certificate, OEM theme etc always succesfull in x86 system, but when I test in x64 system, only the OEM theme n user account pictured change, but not the certificate or the serial key, even the OEM information in welcome centre or system in control panel are not applied. do I have to edit the OOBE scripts for x64 system? anyway thx for making this, kindly helpfull to reinstall some machine with Windows 7 preinstalled.

What architecture which will autoactivate doesnt matter..
Its a script for installing key and certificate (and then media) so its os/language/architecture independent.

How do you test it? On your computer? (real or VM) & which kit did you try?

You cant just pick the SLIC 2.1 kit and think it magically activates windows 7 without SLIC 2.1 in BIOS. If you dont have it, use the loader or daz loader kit.
