Hm skumt, Theres definitly HP slic in bios. Is it a modded bios? Try delete everything thats not HP (keep, hp cert & key)

Yes, it´s a modded bios.
And Daz loader v 1.9.3 findes the right cert so its no problem to install the cert that way.

Guys.. I have fixed the gigabyte error. I think we need to keep this thread alive and i want all of you to contribute now!
I havent fixed the problem with daz loader always installing the loader even if there is slic 2.1..

You can find the download link for some previous post. Its an attachment.
They have the same filename as before but also "_tcntad" and fileextension is *.rar now..

If its not OK with mods or perhaps even searchengine i will delete the files.

 

I will check over my code since this is something I actually handle too. The application will install the certificate & serial and then only install the loader if the system reports back as non-genuine. At this point the thing on my mind is why would this work in Windows but fail from the DVD.

Just seems abit weird it installs loader even if its not necessary. You havent heard from searchengine?

Until the loader works properly from setup/dvd i wont inofficially update it. So please keep testing this

 

I've not heard from him. I think he said something about going for an operation of some sorts before didn't he? Hopefully everythings turned out fine and hes just recovering.

I've checked over the code and can't see any fault so I'd have to run it through a VM and have it output some things. It could be that genuine checks fail at that point during the Windows installation.

 

yea I know a guy on page 12 tried reach him but i dont think he got a hold of searchengine. I hope he's doing fine
So it fails the genuine check and then the loader installs eh?.. Well Could it be related to the older version? Maybe its fixed in 1.9.4?

 

I don't think it's much to do with the version.

The script that launches the loader if required is also failing which to me says that Windows isn't saying it's genuine at this point during the installation. How would you fix that? Well at the moment I'm not sure but maybe you could just setup the loader to launch on the first run of Windows as it would then detect that the systems already activated.

 

Hm well its not that hard to just launch the loader after windows logged in hehe. Althouhg i dont know how to:/ Firstlogon or something like that?

I think this problem already is fixed by Butterfly Joe.
I had the same problem but after editing the SetupComplete.cmd acording to his post#489 it`s working.
(Daz loader 1.9.3)
Tested on ASUS and Gigabyte laptop (modded bios) and Acer+HP desktop

It`s working for me.

If Slic 2.1 it activates without installing Loader

If no Slic 2.1 it install loader

 

I guess the loader does work then and it's only failing because you only execute the loader application based off this batch code which currently fails... That is until you update it to this new code anyway. What I don't get though is why not just install the OEM information and then execute the loader application? I've already coded everything within the application so you're actually performing the same check 2 times at the minute.

 

I think the problem for some, that results in Daz Loader running in all events, is resulting from script checking activation status in English.

string check in English:-

So anyone who selects an alternative language during installation ie. German; French; Italian; etc will result in Daz Loader running as English string not identified during activation check.

Editing script as previously detailed will fix for all languages.
