    I've seen the updated package is only one version without DAZ loader.
    Is it enough to copy SetupComplete.cmd and Windows Loader.exe from old sources\$oem$\$$\Setup\scripts folder, or do I have adjust it more?

    that's fine, no need to 'adjust it more'

    @fallan...

    thanks for screenshot... I see that for activation the serial key is 'acer' (which I would expect if script did not detect bios id, it uses 'acer' key as default), but the strange thing is that 'Asus' certificate is installed, which should only happen if 'asus' bios detected, in which case asus serial should also apply, as should 'asus' theme.

    I have installed vista and win7 in vmware with patched bios's for asus, dell, acer, toshiba, emachines, gigabyte etc without any errors, but I will install vista 'business edtn' in vmware using asus slic to see what happens

    Thanks for all your help i have found the problem.
    It was the slic rom witch i was told to put in VMWARE directory i installed vista in.
    I found your patching program ( VMware Manauto Selector) then reinstallad again and it work.

    many thanks

    @fallon...
    glad things worked out for you, when vmware bios successfully patched.

    rulman...
    your problems look remarkably similar to the problems fallon had, until vmware bios was successfully patched... see post #1120.

    another possibility is that vmware may be running in 'debug' mode... have a look in your installation directory, for vmware-vmx-debug.exe, and if it exists, either rename it, or delete it... when renamed or removed, patched file runs as default.
