    if you're interested i've modified my inital project: now during first boot will appear a simple application that makes you choose if apply brand or not and you can also manually choose what brand apply.
    if you want i can upload it, i just have to find a new file hosting website because microsoft closed my files on mediafire and so i prefer not to upload this project on that site again XD

    Hi all,

    I have been using a thumbdrive to do all my installations which has both 32 and 64 bit versions of win7 and I can get to select which version of 7 i would like to install.
    but my question is when i created the iso I can remember coming here and getting a oem collection to add to my sources folder which had a version number of 1.20, this collection consisted of 65 OEM's, Now I would like to be able to update this list, and I wondered if this $oem$_AIO_Win7_Vista_DVD[2.1~2.0]Apr2012.7z had been created by the same person.

    all I can go on is this, on my v1.20 list there is a theme_Default.txt file within the scripts folder that says this:

    OPTIONS:-
    ========

    DO NOTHING ... Manufacturer Brand theme will be applied, if detected;
    "DEFAULT" folder theme will apply if manufacturer not detected.

    OR

    1. Delete only the "DEFAULT" folder from the "MultiBrand_OEM's" folder
    ... Windows Default Theme would apply if manufacturer brand not found.

    2. Delete the "MultiBrand_OEM's" folder
    ... Windows Default Theme would apply regardless of brand found.

    3. Place the "Theme_Default.txt" in the "DEFAULT" folder, in the "MultiBrand_OEM's" folder
    ...This forces the "DEFAULT" folder contents to be applied as custom theme.

    * Edit files in "DEFAULT" folder with your own image/s etc
    * USER.bmp no larger than 128x128 pixel 24bit bmp
    * BACKGROUNDDEFAULT.jpg no larger than 256kb

    and it looks very similar to the new version available. As I stated all I can remember is that it had a version number of 1.20, I have done some searching and cannot find any mention of it.

    Could anyone throw some light on this please, has this new version been created by the same person as the version I originally used.
    I would really appreciate any comments or help chaps.

    Thanks In advance....

    Yes $oem$_AIO_Win7_Vista_DVD[2.1~2.0]Apr2012.7z is the official updated version by searchengine the original developer.

    Hi urie,

    It's been a while since we last chatted.... How's things been, all okay I hope.

    Unfortunately I have managed to rupture my right Gastrocnemius, I'd like to say it was caused by doing something really cool like "rock climbing" or a really bad football foul, but it happened while playing with my son on a swing..... lol

    So I thought I'd take the opportunity to update a few things, this being one of them, So would you say it's fine to just overwrite my original $oem$ folder with this one, or would I need to do anything extra?

    In my original folder I have the following:
    Certificates (folder)
    MultiBrand_OEM's (folder) (containing 65 OEM folders)
    OOBE.cmd
    Theme_Default.txt

    ---------------------
    but I see in the newer version there is the same:
    certificates (folder)
    MultiBrand_OEM's (folder)
    Custom_Theme_[readme].txt
    keys.ini
    oembios.ini
    OOBE.cmd

    also within the $$ folder I noticed "Display.exe" which has been compressed with a modified version of Upx, is this file necessary??

    Thanks for your advice urie,
    sadsack

    @ sadsack from the Custom_Theme_[readme].txt

    You could try an installation with the display.exe or you could REM out
    Code:
    :RUNONCE
    ::apply runonce instruction -> 'Display.exe'
    IF EXIST "%windir%\Display.exe" reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce" /v !1st /t REG_SZ /d "%windir%\Display.exe" /f >nul

    from OOBE.cmd

    Personally I would leave it as it is.

    Thanks urie,

    I'll leave it as it is..... as long as it's clean I'm not too worried.
    As I had to update my own thumbdrive I also ended up doing this for a friend as well, who has a couple of netbooks with no DVD drives, I told him what I use (thumbdrive).... so he asked me if he brought one would I do him his own multi version.

    I'll see how much thanks I get ...... lol

    cheers again urie...

    OOBE.CMD is first and SetupComplete.cmd last

    No, this is more a DIY place. Think along the lines of an amateur wanting to fix his own car, rather than taking it to a mechanic. We share the parts and the knohow and you do the labour :)

    It really is easy. Just follow Titos advice.

    A quick question. Is there a line we can add to the OOBE.cmd that will cause it to do the same as Enterprise (not run loader) if the OS is Win8? How about the same for a EFI\GPT install? I have a few methods to do this but your cmd is much more elegant.

    Also, where is the download link??
