The oem-test is a tool for you to run on that modded asus to see why it showed as acer branding and not asus branding.
Please post the results.txt file for searchengine to examine to find the cause of the misbranding.

yep, that confirms my suspicion, 'System' being picked from checking 'oemscan.ini' entries....

    1st test:
    INFO|ACER AcerSystem|ACER

    2nd test:
    INFO|KSYSTEMS|KSYSTEMS

It's kinda late here, but I'll adjust the script, hopefully tomorrow.

Could do with a bit more info...

Yes, it works on 'Desktop PC' & 'Laptop'.

Did you download the files, and place '$oem$' folder (I mean only that folder with all it's contents) in 'sources' folder of your iso?

What OS are you installing and what edition, also what is 'brand' of your machine and you are sure you have SLIC 2.1?

Did you flash the firmware with modded slic then updated your bios with one from Asus?

@ valkyrie....put the $oem$ folder in the sources folder of the iso and the xml goes at the root of iso.
Make sure to check your slic version for 2.1 for oem activation.
