    Exactly... I think most of the ASUS and ASRock engineers are just lazy to put that info on their desktop mobos.

    ;) :D

    Tnx forma the update.

    I tried with the setupcomplete but at the end windows is not activated. During the oobe proces I see the serial request, I skip, so I see the loader background activity, but when windows start, is not activated.

    I use a vbox machine

    hello

    searchengine

    daz loader where you add and how you want your script to the latest version ( $oem$_AIO_Win7_Vista_DVD[2.1_2.0]Jan2013.7z ) of no slic 2.1?

    sorry my english

    @Eleonor...

    just create a 'SetupComplete.cmd' file as detailed in the 'readme' file of Windows Loader...

    place the 'SetupComplete.cmd' beside the 'OOBE.cmd' file contained in the '$oem$\$$\Setup\scripts' directory.

    where should i put the daz loader ? the instructions of the setupcomplete.cmd file should exactly be the same as is mentioned by the daz in the readme.txt file ? my computer don't has slic 2.1. i know by reading this thread that i have to use daz loader but despite reading the thread i was unable to understand the steps exactly.i m an absolute beginner.so, if u don't mind i request u to give us a step by step instruction on how to do this.

    @ MUKESH
    You need to download the windows loader from daz and read the readme in it (scroll 3/4 way down and you will see the lines to add to the setupcomplete.cmd file)......does require some reading.
    Then add cmd file to scripts forlder with oobe.cmd file and windows will auto pick it up and run it during install of windows.

    Note: when saving the setupcomplete.cmd file make sure it is set to all files and name it setupcomplete.cmd then save it.....if not set to all files then it will default save to txt file.

    u said:when saving the setupcomplete.cmd file make sure it is set to all files.
    i honestly don't know what is that.as i said it already i m an absolute beginner so plz say it in a way i can understand(before writing this i tried a lot to understand what u said but failed).

    @searchengine
    in your latest updates why have u not explained the loader part for non slic 2.1 bios?

    @iqbalpnr
    i did exactly what is said in the "how to use" but nothing was the way it should be(except a few things mentioned below)
    negative part(things which were not correct):
    no background(log on , log off) wallpaper , no desktop wallpaper(i added my own .jpg wallpapers which were exactly according to my screen resolution of 1366x768 to the "wallpaper" folder) , brand logo was not there in system properties , model no was not there in system properties.

    positive part(things which were correct):
    windows was activated.

    note:I have done the installation from a virtual drive(daemon tools lite latest free version).to make an iso i extracted the original msdn windows 7 ultimate sp1-u iso x64 to a folder using "haozip" then i added the $oem$ folder after making the necessary changes(mentioned in how to use) to the desired location. then used imgburn to make/rebuild the iso.my pc is a dell laptop.

    open notepad and paste this in there...
    Now at top of window in notepad you will see tab called file....click it and choose save as.
    In that window save file name as SetupComplete.cmd and change under file name the drop down arrow where it says save as type to all files. Save it.
    Now add keys.ini, windows loader.exe and that setupcomplete.cmd files to the $oem$\$$\setup\scripts\ where the oobe.cmd file is. Add to your iso under souces folder.
    I would use the jan 2013 version by searchengine to ensure everything works....I tested it today on a friends lappy and setup recovery partition also and installed perfect.....it was a dell too like mine and yours so I know it works. I didnt need a loader (slic 2.1) but if needed there ya go.

    As far as this including instructions on windows loader it isnt his responsibility to support someone else's project but we do try and help here as you see. Seachengines project is for oem activations so that doesnt include loaders but it can be added by reading the readme txt file in Daz's windows loader.zip file as a setupcomplete.cmd to be added.

    Hope this helps some now.....nite all.
