    Like I said, I havn't really looked at Win8, but I suspect that there would not be a script that would apply manufacturer brand themes by default, I think the logon backgrounds etc for that OS would be stored in system .dll files.

    @mnguyen...

    'Table not found.' is RWEverything's output... that's why slic 2.1 not showing.

    Try 'Tool Tested - link removed'

    @mnguyen...

    good, all is well now.

    It's been RWEverything's version causing problem on your system... I have been using v1.5.2 (no splash logo).

    v1.5.3.7 has a small splash logo that appears for a second or two when RWEverything starts.

    anarchist9027...

    VMware
    In earlier days I included vmware in the project, but as more and more manufacturer brands got added, and the file size grew, and as vm not an actual oem brand, I dropped it from the project... I wouldn't add it to the 'oemscan.ini' as it would theme the virtual machine as vmware, even if the vm bios had been slic patched to a manufacturer brand... it would be best added to oobe.cmd and a reg query done to apply it if the bios wasn't patched.

    Win8
    The existing script will allow brand files to get delivered in Win8, and activation section is skipped, but auto-apply of manufacturer theme would not occur because Win8 will have disabled setting theme via registry. I don't have a Win8 iso for testing, but I'm pretty sure the logon images etc will be stored in system dll files... I would guess that to apply manufacturer theme by default, UAC would need to be disabled or by-passed and a runonce cmd used to apply theme and restart explorer.

    edit:- If I update the project at any time in the future, I will re-introduce VMware theme, and maybe add VirtualBox.

    This is a new one for me.

    DAZ Loader.png

    On al the other machines I have loaded using the Multi-disc, I get Status: Trial

    But on this one, I receive Status: Notification.

    I have tried both Legacy and Disable Type Memory 4

    But every time it says that the certs and keys were installed successfully, I reboot and it says that windows in not activated.

    Any ideas.

    @urie

    Thats right. People don't give proper credits to searchengine & use his works to make pre-activated installation medias.

    could anybody who has 'VirtualBox' installed, and has an OS installed on it, navigate to registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\SystemInformation and tell me what the entries are for SystemManufacturer and SystemProductName

    Ok, I went ahead and updated the BIOS (should have done that first) and just re-installed using the MultiDisc and it worked without issue.
