Win 8.x • Win 7 • Vista - 'Multi-OEM' ISO Project

Sure, installing now in vmware but soon as it is done I will run it and post results here in this post. Loop, ok I understand.

Here you go....I cant correct this from oobe.cmd. It is seeing my intel motherboard on my lappy instead of vmware.

I noticed something today...you might need to takeown of the img100.jpg pic (win 8 and 8.1) for the lockscreen is still windows default in vmware 10.0.1. Also because of this failure I guess, the $VMWARE$\LockScreen folder is empty. All other images show correctly. This is the only issue I see now.

Update: Still no change...that image is locked from moving during oobe.

 

Thanks searchengine for updating link on first page. Works perfect. What caused my issue earlier was that win 8 needs to be activated before lockscreen changes...win 8.1 isnt like that, it shows vmware lockscreen without being activated.

 

I don't get it. For me it's still broken...

 

Well, is it possible to upload to any other place in the meantime?

First off thanks for the fixed win 8 lockscreen version. Backup link is working. Funny thing is I thought I might have a bad iso so I downloaded fresh iso but I see now I didnt need too. lol At least I have fresh iso. lol Thanks again but may I ask a question...why are the () needed on two lines? Didnt think it was necessary. Anyways, thank you for putting in the hours.

 

@searchengine: Firstly, many thanks for this awesome project, I do believe this a true gem.
Second, I want to make my own Win8.1 AIO, using both editions core and pro, both architectures. Should the following steps work to accomplish that?:
1. Make the AIO.
2. Copy the $oem$ folder to the "sources" folder.
3. Edit ei.cfg file and put it into the sources folder.

Can I use your project in Windows 7, 8, 8.1 in Spanish language? Does something get slightly changed or altered that may interfere with Windows in Spanish?
