You can always download the main project which has the tool in it as well. ;) At least until searchengine updates the link for the tool alone.

Update: Backup 1 and Backup 2 links are working but the others are down. There are options.

Backup 1 & backup 2 links not working here - if I click to download, it just pops up 'Your download of ..... has started' (with the filename in the middle of course). But nothing actually happens.

That doesn't work either - still just tries to download the 305kb .exe file.

Hold on a little, I'll update links pointing to another hoster.
Edit: I couldn't upload the large project file to rghost.net so FOLLOW the instructions in my post, then you will be OK.

In terms of OEM activation, can I use a Windows 8.1 core with your project included, on a laptop that came with Windows 8 Single Language?

The oobe and activation will accept the windows 8 key for activation but not the install (setup). You will need a install key for that or you can do a upgrade from windows 8 to windows 8.1.

Well, another 2 questions alike, how about to install using this OEM project:
    1. Using Windows 8 core on a laptop that came with Windows 8 Single Language?
    2. Using Windows 8.1 core on a laptop that came with Windows 8.1 Single Language?

I want to highlight that OEM activation is what matters to me.

The key in bios is specific to the version so lets say if you have core installed then for it to activate you will need to install the same version. This goes for both win 8 and 8.1 but win 8.1 needs install keys now is the difference from what I have read at many places including here on this forum.

OK I got it, but in many cases laptops came and come the new ones with Windows 8-8.1 Single Language then how to integrate this OEM Project into a Single Language iso? I saw at the OP this project supports Win8.x only core / Pro. How can I get an OEM solution for this case?

Now that is a good question...I would say you would have to try it and see for I don't know the answer to that question. Sorry :(

After doing some thinking on your question, I wouldn't think single lang. would be an issue for it is core. I know if you make a media center edition iso yourself it probably wouldn't work for it isn't a addon anymore but a iso with addon already included which will need a media center key in order to install it. Now keep in mind, I don't know for sure so if I am wrong don't get mad at me. lol

Hi, I was thinking about using this Windows 7 DVD activation patch for the purpose of making it more convenient (and in some cases possible, since CD-keys get scratched off) to fix computers of friends, family, and clients, if I start a business. Is it 100% legal to use this patch? I'm thinking that it very likely is, but I just want to double check. The reason I think that it is is that this patch detects OEM. If the OEM is present, genuine Windows is installed; if it is not present, a trial is started. So I would really appreciate it if someone could verify this for me in some way.

    Thank you very much!

First off welcome. I would really think it would be best to talk to searchengine about using his project for your business purposes. As far as the legal issue I will put it like this...are you a oem manufacture? If not then maybe some legal issues if using it for your business. As said earlier I think you need to talk with searchengine.
