    Windows 8 Auto OEM boot Logo

    by my title i mean add a Property to this Project to add windows 8 boot logo...

    add a place to script to place our script to run a program after installation of windows finished...

    how can i disable auto activation of my windows from project???

    I will try it tomorrow for he wants a recovery partition so going to use AnarethoS's project then to install win 8.1 on mine. Will report back with progress. Thanks again.

    Oh, will you be adding that to the oem asst. tool?

    Maybe towards end of this month, time permitting... I won't have much time to visit the forum for the foreseeable future, as family matters are at the top of my 'to do' list.

    The oemsync reads your bios info like slic (for win 7 like you want it would look for slic 2.1 for oem activation). If no bios slic 2.1 then it will not oem activate and you will have to use windows loader by daz or bios mod (I recommend windows loader). If you were trying to install win 8 or 8.1 the oemsync would check for slic in bios and also the key for win 8 and 8.1 then apply the key for oem activation. I think 7 zip can edit iso's but not for sure and it is free but I use Ultra ISO personally. It depends on what you feel comfortable with. Even if your machines dont oem activate win 7 it will apply theme reguardless. If you have anymore question please feel free to ask.     UltraISO can add without recompiling and just save added folders/files but you need to uncheck everything under option/configuration/save for it to only save what has been added only. This is where some say ultraiso doesnt save correctly...it will if you do what I mentioned. I have never had an issue as long as I do that first. Been using it for yrs. I own the software so I dont remember about what options are avail. for the trial version...maybe just trial days with full control but I dont remember. You can check their site for more info is my best advise and go from there. Good luck.

    If adding anything to an ISO it "has" to save it but if you uncheck all options under save it will only save the files and folders added only without recompliling the whole ISO again. You cant add files and folders to an ISO without saving....you have to. I think you are confused on the difference between saving and recompiling.
