So before I mess up again, this is the right windows 10 for me right? (if I come from windows 7 sp1 ultimate) - 10240.16384.150709-1700.TH1_CLIENTPRO-CORE_OEMRET_X64FRE_EN-US
Anyone check activation after a few days? I upgraded Windows 7 Ultimate (which was activated using Daz Loader 2.2.2) to Windows 10 OEM downloaded from FaiKee's thread. On the first day of use, it showed windows is activated but now a few days later it says windows is not activated. This was done in a Virtualbox VM if that matters.
Right, I did that on my HTPC. Swapped in an old HDD, installed Win7 and Cert, activated it. Mounted Win10 ISO hit setup and Upgraded. Went online for activation. Formatted drive, did a clean install, checked it was still activated. Then replaced my Pro/WMC drive.
I tried to upgrade a legit win 8.1 pro wmc key running into a vm and it was activated successfully. Then i created a new virtual machine and the only thing i keeped from the old one (which was upgradeded) was the uuid bios code: the brand new vm with a win10 fresh installation was activated successfully again. I don't think NIC mac do something during activation or maybe with VM it just works in different ways...
Same BIOS UUID equals in same Virtual Hardware. Trick was used to run real KMS Hosts which leaked to the net.
Cloned Win7UltX64 activated with 2.21 and Off13VL with MTK onto an old harddrive applied the upgrade and it worked like a charm now testing Off13 to see if it came through OK. ... Had to set it up again and re-install MTK otherwise OK. I do think this thread should be on a stickie there's a lot of clear instruction here that saves wading through the feldergarb fixed my sig to show it. ...T
I just realised, that i activated the Windows 10 Pro RTM, with my Windows 8.1 kms tool (KMS Dashboard 2.0.5)
quick question, what will happen if i activated my windows 10 (wzor leak) with my original windows 7 key.
