I have yet to find a download that can't be managed by JD, except for the few hours neded to have the updated plugins, when a video website changes.

Whatever, that happens for files not meant to be downloadable. Which is not OP's case. So no, I'm not confusing anything, I just provided the most obvious solution to his problem.

I just Googled "Windows 7 maximum file size"
    It says:
Windows 7 files cap out at 4GB per file due to OS limitations, but on Windows 8 and Windows 8.1, file size is only limited by available hard disk space.

Is that 4.07GB ISO file just too big for Win7 to DL.
Nobody else doing a 7 to 10 upgrade have any DL problems?

Yes, I have Win7 Pro x64 SP1 installed. and am trying to DL the 4.07GB ISO to upgrade to Win10 1607 English x64.
The ISO file I'm trying to DL is Win10_1607_English_x64.
    Includes SP1?
Isn't that file the proper one?
Will Win7 have a problem with this file? ( 4GB OS file size limit )

If there exists any filesize limit it will be for FAT32 (4GB), not 2.6GB when your downloads quit.

4GB per file is a FAT32 limit, not W7 limit, are you on Fat32?

If that's the case you're about 15 years late to convert to NTFS:biggrin:

    HD properties says NTFS.

    8GB of RAM installed.

I don't need to install Win7 Pro x64 Sp1, that is what I presently have installed.

Google, "windows 7 maximum file size".
There sure is some conflicting info.
