The method is very good but I expected to use something similar as explained here unattend.xml sysprep to skip it without using commands..
On 10 this is not needed, simply disconnect during oobe and no need for tricks. And it is only on Home, don't use Home unless you have an official and paid license. The xml is not from this OP, it's mostly from @AveYo.
I tried the latest version and I got this: Code: Running Admin shell Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool Version: 10.0.22621.1 Error: 2 The system cannot find the file specified. The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log ERROR: The system was unable to find the specified registry key or value. ERROR: The parameter is incorrect. OK, the latest version did not work either. Here's the log: EDIT: Never mind, I placed it in the wrong place. I withdraw my request.
Can someone clarify this part of the instructions that says "copy content from "copy-to-iso-root" inside windows 11 iso accept file replacement"...It says copy to the root of the .iso but the folder named "copy to iso root" has the subfolder named sources...So my question is do them files all go in the sources folder in the .iso? The root wouldn't be inside the sources but that is where some of the files like the appraisers and the ei.cfg are from on any .iso??? Please verify where they go...which is the root directory...maybe a picture. Thanks.
Your illustration still isn't clear where them 3 files go....I open up my Win 11 .iso and there is 4 folders and 4 files. Now the 3 files in the copy to iso root folder..Do they go inside the sources folder of the Win 11 .iso or where the original 8 total files are?
Ok here are 3 pic's to clarify what I want to know........Which one is the root where the 3 files are to be copied to? I have no Auto untended XML in the copy to boot folder??????
