English bypass base? I couldn't find it there ("unattend.dll" I can find but not xml). Where exactly, please? Can you post it here? I am struggling to get W11 Multi version going (to install Education N) - but without the bloatware... Any additional hints, please? So much is presumed with all these different versions, files, formats, scripts, converters, extractors, downloaders, protocols, tools, compilers and whatnot of all sorts... Bewildering... (This is not at all easy if you are a non-IT person, as you can imagine, when lots of things are not written down clearly or fully - to just follow the instructions, even though they might be long and complex - that is not the issue! I am trying for days now and I managed, up to a point, alas there's always something to throw a spanner into the works, just when you are hopeful you managed... It's either the language issue or multi-version is not there or online account is needed or too much bloatware or.... something... I don't necessarily want somebody to do it for me, as you can see from my previous efforts - just clear instructions, with tools that don't require in-depth IT knowledge every step of the way...)
Uh, sorry but it is a bit cryptic, as it is short and probably grammatically imprecise. So, I just need to clarify for myself, not to make a blunder: 1) From your "No bloatware" EN-US ISO I should only copy the "unattend.xml" from that folder? Well,. I went searching for it, for that folder but I couldn't find it there. But I did find something similar - the "unattend.xml" is there: /sources/$OEM$/$$/System32/Sysprep Btw, thanx for the hint, last night I was too tired and I simply missed it... I took it from there and saved it, together with ei.cfg etc. 1a) Now, where do I put it in the Original ISO? The same folder as where I found it in yours "no Bloatware ISO"? 1b) Or the "News" folder of the Original ISO? I can't find it in the original "Multi ISO", sadly... So for me, an IT layperson, it's a problem now... Did I misunderstand, please? I am unsure here... So, trying to be a bit practical, could I then try something different: 2) use the original MS Win11 Multi ISO and replace the unattend.xml to kill the need for an online installation = no need for an MS account); 3) replace ei.cfg in the original Multi ISO ("Sources folder?) to make sure I get all the options of M11 to install, as well; 4) install Winn11 EducationN, which has very little bloatware; 5) use the freeware app Win10-11 Optimizer to further reduce the telemetry s**te (perhaps together with the aShampoo's WinOptimizer?)??? That might be a decent result, too, non? Thanx a bunch for caring and sharing!!! Appreciated, together with all the other contributors to the scene!!! P.S. I will try to put both files in the "Sources" folder of the original ISO and.... pray... Plus, Rufus might help... I hope...
Damn! It worked in the sense that I got the multiple choice of OS and I could install EducationN without the internet connection/MS account/"limited installation" but... A whole load of MS garbage/bloatware was in there, even though EducationN is not supposed to have it... Never mind, I used that Windows Optimizer 1.2 app to reduce it and so... If anyone has "No bloatware Education/EduN ISO" version - please... Thanx for the ride, pm!!!
Muchly appreciated! I shall do it with the key, I suppose, as the advanced method lacks precise steps for an IT layperson, as I am sure you can appreciate... So, after the installation I have to: change the key change the overall language (to change the system lingo to EN-GB) then further reduce the bloatware manually, i.e.via apps/scripts. But I will get there in the end... THANX A LOT! P.S. If EducationN is best (for a number of reasons, as stated by you and others) my suggestion would be for somebody IT capable to make an ISO with all this bloatware already gone but with various languages included, so most of us IT laypeople could enjoy the best of all the options, with some confidence it will all work out... Just thinking aloud... Cheers!
I got the errors when I didn't put the folder into /C (root), with no empty spaces in the name of the folder...
Is Windows 11 22H2 still better than Windows 11 23H2? as for resource consumption I know that it can vary but I mean more in performance, since in my opinion I think that with each new version of Windows 11 it consumes more resources.
NB : added news instruction about windows 11 24H2 , updated appraiserres.dll to latest windows 10 version , better compatibility with latest windows 11 if you have already patched media with bypass only replace appraiserres.dll are required for compatibility increase
