http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer...ading-windows-10-to-your-machine-just-in-case On my Win7 system this doesn't happen. White Win10 icon sits in system tray. But I didn't reserve. Am I not worthy to be a forced happy Win10 user?
It wasn't mentioned if that user were using a local or a Microsoft Account on his machine! I realized about 2 weeks ago, that all computers with MS Account's were getting that Windows 10 Download, located in the $Windows.~BT folder, while those using a local account didn't, and same was applied for those who had set their Internet connection to Metered if used WiFi. That seems to show that MS is 'sending' Windows 10 to all users who're computers were running on MS Accounts and used an older version of Windows. So, the question would be: What's wrong with that MS action? Fact is, if the user's didn't like the Windows 10 get installed on their computer, and those OS were downloaded by external force already, they just need to delete the content of that folder, but: keep the folder for to avoid a new automated download. That's how we'd done it by our friends and clients and it worked till today! OK, such external forced downloads aren't the best 'Marketing' and shouldn't have been done, me think! On the other hand, it gives those users, whom may sometimes want to have to OS, the change to get it within those free 1. year on their machines without the need of to pay for an quite expensive license. That's just one User Complain is mentioned in that article, besides of what the Redaktion is mention, show's on the other hand, that most didn't care about it, accept it or whatsoever! Personally I don't see that as a kind Scam or so! Apple, just as an example, do such with every single sale of their hardware and go with everybody, who breach their Rules to a court and sue's them! On the end of the day, like it or not, Microsoft is providing their systems and apps for all hardware, so everybody who wants could use them without dictation and limits of use on what hardware you would run it! Windows are still the easiest OS for beginners and experts alike, today!
Thread - Windows 10 upgrade is now FORCE installing to Windows 7 PC's, without users consent! Blocking solutions start at the foot of page 6 of that thread.
